Great for Overland vehicles, ADV/Dual Sport Motorcycles and  Adventure Touring Bikes. The LOAT is a set of suggested trails and routes for exploring our great state. It strategically connects all 5 sections of the Kisatchie National Forest Ranger Districts by way of rural roads. Many of them being dirt/gravel and improved blacktop parish roads along with routes that are great for touring motorcycles as well. We opted to avoid highways where possible for our overland and ADV trails. Each section provides waypoints for unique points of interest, as well as, fuel, food, camping, and lodging options, giving you the best tools to plan out your own adventure.
